Our History
Wilma J. Williams hosted her first mentoring event for girls at the Omni Hotel Westside in Houston, TX. Pictured is the first group of girls and volunteers that participated in the Saturday morning event on July 2, 2011.
ADDITIONAL HISTORICAL FACTS:
- Wilma J. Williams started her nonprofit leadership role in 2011 as the Founder of So Blessed To Be Me, Inc.
- In 2012 and 2014, So Blessed To Be Me, Inc. hosted a Girls Win Weekend Conference for over 20 girls.
- In 2015, Wilma relocated to Florida from Texas and was not able to meet with girls for mentoring.
- In 2017, online mentoring sessions were started for girls previously participating in onsite events held in Texas.
- In 2020, So Blessed To Be Me, Inc. programs officially ended and In This For Life Virtual Volunteers, Inc. was formed to save unborn babies and serve families from the womb through high school graduation.
- In 2020, In This For Life Virtual Volunteers, Inc. launched online mentoring programs for moms, dads, youth, and post abortion care.
